However, we require that hosts provide a certain level of security and hospitality for working professionals who book their space, which will have great impact on reviews and ratings.

Remotely requires eveyone who registers as a guest to provide relevant information before booking a space. Besides connecting with the guest, this information helps you make the best decisions concerning any reservation request. Guest are expected to provide the following:

Full name
Email address
Verified phone number
Introductory message
Agreemnt to terms and conditions
Receipt of payment/Invoice

For further verification, you can require that a valid ID be provided before booking your space.

Putting up your space on Remotely.ng is entirely free. There are no hidden charges. However, upon confirming a reservation request, you will be expected to pay a service fee which is 8.5% of the amount charged. This will help keep our processes running efficiently.

You are at liberty to set whatever price you deem suitable enough. You can always check listings in your area to get an idea of what is generally charged.

Our platform provides a basic pricing structure based on a couple of factors such as the type of facility, location of the space, demand and more. Notwithstanding, you can increase the price or not as you deem appropriate.

How reviews work

All the reviews on Remotely.ng are written by hosts and working professionals from our community, so any review you see is based on a visit that a guest had in a host’s listing.

You have 5 days after checkout to write a review for a stay and you can edit your review for up to 48 hours after submitting, unless your guest completes their review. Once you both complete your reviews, or 5 days goes by, the reviews are published.

You can find your reviews from guests at any time and when you get booked by a guest, you can check out their reviews from past hosts.

If you don’t have a Remotely account yet, go to remotely.ng and click Sign Up.

You can sign up using your email address, Facebook account, or Google account .Signing up and creating a Remotely account is free.

After you sign up, be sure to complete your account before booking a reservation.

We encourage all guests to complete their bookings through our website before meeting in person to best ensure their safety and privacy.

There are many ways to learn more about the place to stay and the host without visiting the property, including:

  • Private messaging
  • Profile verifications
  • Reviews
  • Verified photography

To cancel a reservation :

  1. Go to Bookings and find the trip you want to cancel
  2. Click Change or cancel

**Note that there’s a 5% cancellation fee after the host has accepted the request.

If you’re ready to book a place on Remotely.ng, you can send a request to the host to book a reservation. If you’re unsure about the listing or its availability, you can also send a message to the host.

To send a reservation request:

  1. On a listing, click Request to Book.
  2. Review your reservation details to make sure everything is correct.
  3. Add your payment information
  4. Agree to the policies and terms, including the work culture policy and house rules.
  5. Wait for the host’s response. Most host replies within a few hours.
